Philadelphia, PA-NJ – New Orleans Saints Fullback, Kyle Eckel volunteered to help raise money for a Pennsylvania girl with a rare genetic disorder. Kyle attended the event which was held at Guppy’s in Conshohocken, PA on April 29, 2010.

Janie is a five-year-old, adorable little energetic girl who was born August 20th, 2004 with a rare genetic disorder called MIDAS syndrome (Microphthalmia, Dermal Apalsia, Sclerocornea) which only affects females. MIDAS left Janie blind at birth. Her le

ft eye is under developed which requires her to wear a glass eye. This disorder is so rare Janie was the first case at the children’s hospital of Philadelphia. Although the doctors told this precious little girl’s parents she would only have 10 months to live, today she is a very loving five-year-old little girl. The Carbos and all of their family and friends are “Dreaming Big” for a happy and healthy future for Janie.

In order to help raise money for Janie, Kyle Eckel bartended the event a

nd had the opportunity to meet fellow supporters of Janie. Kyle took photographs with fans and signed numerous autographs with all proceeds going to Janie and her family.

What we think about Maxico :
Aguirre revived El Tricolor’s qualifying campaign after the disastrous reign of Sven-Goran Eriksson, but the side have never been beyond the second round outside Mexico, do not seem conducive for a change in that statistic. Even so, they have an exciting mix of experience and youth, and certainly enough firepower to cause the bigger sides some concern, as they showed in recent friendlies against England and Holland. At the biggest stage of all, if they are able to reproduce the form they showed at the end of the qualifying campaign, they could well be one of the surprise packages of the tournament. However, more likely than not, going beyond the last sixteen will be a challenge for the Mexicans.
