sa Cove appeals to scuba divers. One reason for this is that all throughout the year, the seals drop in on this spot to beach. They find delight to sun on a rock just off the shore. Further reason to do scuba diving in San Diego and here is due to all the lobsters that can be observed in this area.

Don’t fail to see the kelp beds. One set of the beds can be found around La Jolla with the other being at Pt. Loma. Ranging from about 30 feet down to about 60 feet is the kelp’s depth. Visibility is usually favorable around these areas than other due to a lower amount of sand. A local dive boat can be booked that will take you to these beds. Make sure to bring with you a knife when you dive these areas to cut you lose, in case you become tangled in the kelp.

If you love spear fishing then South Casa Cove is the answer for you. It is not far from Casa Cove. Reefs in this area are what draws the marine life and makes spear fishing so much enjoyable. Since hunting is permitted in this area the fish will be rare, and so with the fact seals feed on them too.
