A more powerful team, Aston Villa was able to get closer to Juve’s goal. Nevertheless, despite the constant pressure exerted by one another, neither team was able to open the score. The second half ended again with a score of 0-0. In overtime, both Juve and Aston, showing great fatigue, solidly defended their goals. As a result, the match was determined through penalty kicks. Juventus missed twice, while Aston took the lead by missing only one shot, bringing the final score to 4-3 in favor of the Villa. The team celebrated on the field with the trophy in the players’ hands, the first victory in the tournament.
